Visual Studio hangs/freezes while building a project

Today my VS2005 freezes everytime I try to build a biztalk 2006R2 project. The build process runs for a couple of seconds before the whole VS2005 GUI freezes.

The solution to this is pretty ridiculously simple. “Just close the ‘Output window’ while building the project”, says “biztodo” on MSDN forums. And it WORKED for me! Although I’m not sure of the cause and the reason why closing the “output window” solves the issue, here’s the thread on this particular issue.
